I figured it's been a factor in over half of my life, and it's finally complete, and I can buy all the books for half-price at secondhand stores...I might as well put in the gumption to finish all fourteen of the books.
Currently on book 7, Crown of Swords.
And what's peculiar is not what I remember from the story, but how some names and phrases (Taardad Maiden, M'hael, Aviendha, King of Illian) remind me more of people from here and Wotmania.
