I share the surprise of those asking what happened to Ray Bradbury and Piers Anthony Joel Send a noteboard - 03/09/2013 04:21:48 PM

Anthony churns out popular books with the same steady regularity as King but less notoriety; still, I did find an interview claiming the first Xanth book alone has sold over a million copies, and the series contains another 34 books (so far....) With well over a hundred mostly SF/F books published, they would only need to average a few thousand sales apiece to put his total over 100,000. I have all but given up on Xanth, partly because I found the last ones repetitive, but also because it is a challenge to read the books as fast as he writes them.
