The one book, that only had a faint smell to begin with, has no smell now unless you smash your nose up against the book and inhale deeply. Even so, it is at the end of a shelf so that it can only infect one book, and I am monitoring that book (which I can easily throw away and replace if need be).
There are a couple from India, though, that are just awful. I guess it's no surprise; I have yet to see a quality product come out of India. I may just end up having to throw them away.
