It could be your official "book cleaning" vacuum, in case you end up purchasing/receiving more old books with mildew smell in the future. Could keep it outside in the garage or a shed when not in use.
Kind of a pain in the neck though, so I suppose whether it would be worthwhile would depend on how much use you'd get out of it. Best of luck in any case.
