AllI have tosay is that Iagree with youin a few things. It was published because of his parents. I was also 9 when I read it but itobviously affected my 9 year old mind enough for me to make my username "Murtagh74" some of the plot devices are over used but so what?
I would also like to point out that your username is Darth Katie so I can conclude that youllove, ifnot are obssesed with Star Wars. Star wars, the trilogy to be specific, Also has the most overused story lines...unwanting heroe thrust upon this adventure....his parents(oruncle and aunt) are killed and this gives him a desire to fight....long lost relative(sister)but WHOCARES??? I still like it even if books and movies use some of the same plots so what? They all have theirinteresting twists.
I agree with you the first book sorta stunk but the second was one of my favorites.....yes I wasten when I read it so maybe its a bookfor younger people................
People are dying in Africa......
And what are we doing?
Chatting about books...
This holiday season find a charity you trust and donate...
Or let them die...
