I'm thinking of Emperor's Soul, Steelheart, and The Rithmatist, specifically.

All three have cool sounding concepts (you have to admit, whatever you think of Sanderson, he has a lot of cool concepts).

How are the books?

Also, I know it's a bit late, but I thought Legion was really cool. I kind of want it to be a TV series.

I heard mixed reviews about Steelheart and the bit I read of it didn't fascinate me that much to I didn't feel like continuing at the moment. I heard Emperor's Soul was pretty good and it apparently is related to some stuff from Elantris? It also takes place in the Cosmere, so it's worth a read based on that alone, not to mention it's ultra short. It's high on my reading list right now. If you're looking to read one of these, I'd probably start with this one.

I don't know if Steelheart is based in the Cosmere... if it's not, I probably won't read it for a long time. Don't know anything about Rithmatist so I won't comment on it.
