Rothfuss, too DREWRULESWOT! Send a noteboard - 01/08/2014 05:00:33 PM

Even Rothfuss is guilty of this. Name of the Wind and Wise Man's Fear both are riddled with comma splices.

It's stunning to me that a) a writer of his caliber (and he truly is an excellent writer, with a deft touch for prose and poetry) doesn't understand the use of semicolon, and b) that publishers are okay with releasing books with errors like that.

Here's to keeping the spirit of Wotmania alive...cheers to RAFO

I'm quite guilty of overusing them when I write. - 31/07/2014 01:46:10 PM 818 Views
