View original postI recommend Rachel Aaron's "Legend of Eli Monpress" for those who enjoy a lighthearted romp with an interesting take on magic. I really enjoy the characters and the way Aaron expands on her world (and the characters' stories) with each book.

Her Paksennarion series (three of them!) for Fantasy, and her Vatta's War and Familias Regnant universe series.

I am also getting into Barbara Hambly. Not sure if she's famous but she's quite decent.

Lesser-known in general or lesser-known on this board? Because this board likes some obscure stuff. - 05/10/2014 09:33:35 AM 1260 Views
