I am getting divorced. It's not something to mention on Facebook (yet) but I am telling people selectively, and I think a quiet post buried in a thread about something else will ensure that only the people I know on here will really be talking about it for now.

No one cheated on anyone (though of course now I don't mind going out, nor do I care if she does), no one wanted to kill anyone. It just hasn't worked and we had to finally admit it probably never would.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
