He has written a number of books since then and improved his style.
The Mistborn trilogy is where he really shows he will be one of the major names in Fantasy in the years to come, IMHO.

Warbreaker is clearly better than Elantris in many ways, but I actually thought the story was weaker (although still a good read), but I guess you can't strike gold every time...
