not really. especially if i haven't read the book....

nope. i don't really think i have anything very special to say. i don't usually have time to do much more than this, really...

I love reviews. They're always interesting, they're good for helping me decide what I do or don't want to read, and they introduce me to new authors. So I find it strange that people here don't seem to care that much about them, despite the fine effort put in by many people here.

this is actually where i'm probably weird. i have this paranoia that i'm going to run out of shit to read, so i read everything, just about. i'll really read just about anything... and i wouldn't want anything to discourage me from missing out on some book that i might like just because someone else didn't like it. i don't really trust other people to tell me anything about what i might like unless i know them personally. reviews here are sometimes funny, and that's when i like them. i have written tiny reviews of fiction stuff, lengthy reviews of books that i read for my profession.


Is there anything we could do that would make you get more involved?

i'm about as involved as i want to be... i actually haven't read a lot of the fantasy stuff that folks here have read, so i really have nothing to add. i'm working on getting caught up...
