If you want to read novels where the author takes five pages to... Joker Send a noteboard - 01/09/2009 02:00:27 AM
I have to be honest. I have really been let down lately. First, based on recommendations from the fine folks on wotm...oops I mean rafo. I recently tried Glen Cook's Black Company books. What the heck is this? It is so scattered and rushed. And then I tried Gene Wolf's The Knight. What is going on with these authors? Why is everything so rushed?

... say what a good writer would say in 250 words, the nineteenth century has your name written all over it.

Nice SN by the way
