I loved these books when I read them long ago -- ajah Send a noteboard - 04/11/2009 06:41:25 AM
I actually had a similar experience to yours. I'd read The Lord of the RIngs, and was depressed at the end. A trip to the local library landed me The Dragon Prince, and ignited my passion for fantasy as a genre.

I was sad to see Melanie Rawn pretty much peter out as a writer over the past 12 years or so. I remember reading she had personal problems, which I was sorry to hear, and missed her contributions to the genre.

How is a romance story different from what she has written before? *NM* - 06/11/2009 12:56:59 AM 105 Views
