... a $5 bargain book to bump my online purchase over $25 and get free shipping:) I didn't expect much since it was such a heavily discounted hardcover, but I ended up liking it a lot. To me it felt like a quick introduction to the world and the characters, and as such was pretty successful. I'm definitely curious to see how the story goes in Canticle, especially the development of Isaak's personality. There's not much more that I can think to say specifically without a reread (or at least a look at the book), but I've sent the book to Oklahoma to share with my Lici so that will have to wait for another time!
