We've seen some 'classic', slightly older American fantasy being picked up recently, like Celia Friedman's COLDFIRE TRILOGY, so I'm hoping that the SUN SWORD books will get picked up soon, hopefully in better covers.
The thread on Janny Wurt's epic series reminded me of another - Michelle West's The Sun Sword

I actually didn't think the covers were that bad...better the DKS covers for WoT anyway
