She must be alive. If she isn't, it's the most useless plotline ever to have been in a book. She has not resolved anything, has not had interesting developments (except maybe help Jaime change his perspective on his own live and those of others) and was just on a quest.

The only way this will make sense is that she survives and at least puts Cat on the trail of Sansa. THEN she may die. (Plotwise)

But: what do I know?
The mystery deepens... I think. *MySmiley*

I'm pretty sure Brienne shouted "Sansa" - 07/12/2009 02:03:32 PM 603 Views
Couldn't "Kingslayer" or "Jaime" (as in going after him) have saved her too? *NM* - 07/12/2009 07:09:09 PM 194 Views

Wikipedia's entry on Brienne indicates "Arya" is a good candidate - 08/12/2009 03:53:55 PM 479 Views
Yeah it's awful how quickly such details are forgotten - 08/12/2009 08:07:42 PM 541 Views

Exactly, and Cat was initially perfectly content to let her go if she agreed to kill Jaime. - 08/12/2009 01:30:17 AM 486 Views
I thought she said Jaime too. *NM* - 08/12/2009 03:04:54 PM 226 Views
Which makes it more unlikely she would have said "Jaime" - 08/12/2009 03:55:45 PM 516 Views
