I did enjoy Goodkind's first book(Wizards First Rule), although it did have several shortcomings. There were some entertaining books along the way, but the -word of Truth series declined sharply after the 3rd or 4th book or so, with The Pillars of Creation and beyond being almost unreadable. I only finished it for completeness sake, and the author seems like such a douchebag that I will nwver buy another one of his books, not even used, and I may not even donate the ones I have for fear of furthering the spread of his work.
