If you like WoT and all the action a characters and whatnot, you'll probably like Mistborn a lot more. Elantris is good, don't get me wrong, but it's very centered on politics and has a much smaller amount of action throughout the book.
Here's to keeping the spirit of Wotmania alive...cheers to RAFO

Another book, or is he bad? Your reply is not very helpful. *NM*

I haven't read the rest of Mistborn so he may have improved there.

Mistborn is a better story, but do you want to read a series or a stand-alone? *NM*

If that mattered a lot to me, don't you think I'd already have chosen?

"Neither" is the best recommendation so far, but I enjoyed Elantris more.

Mistborn. I'm honestly surprised at everyone that seems to not like his stuff. *NM*

Mistborn or Warbreaker. Elantris was neat, but I like those two better. All three

Warbreaker is better as a standalone. Mistborn if you want a series.
