I haven't read the world of Pern book, will have to keep an eye out for it sometime. The in the past books have been okay to read for me, just not as enjoyable as the 'main series'. I haven't read Masterharper of Pern either, I must keep an eye out for that one as well.

I enjoyed the book about Moreta, but was a bit of a bleak ending, though we knew it was going to happen, which meant I enjoyed it less that the main series books.

I haven't read any of the books written by her son, and haven't really been interested in doing so, as have heard somewhat mixed reports about them.
