I find it mildly amusing that when RJ was taking a while with whatever book it was, people were pointing to how aSoIaF was a superior series because of the timeliness and quality.

Then we got aFfC.

Not knocking either series one way or another, but it'd at least be nice to see an update on it more recent than January 2008.
