Some claimed he found his stride again. Guess not, huh ?
Here's the thing with that. He started writing this story 20 years ago and realized it was too big for him so he stopped. I am willing to bet that the best part of this novel was what he came up with oh so long ago and the crappy part (the extremely rushed and extremely easy conclusion) was the new bit.
