You're sticking to your opinion, and priggishly stating that enjoyable stories can have no thematic depth at all, or any other qualities of literature.
No one is claiming that WoT is great literature. But that doesn't mean you cannot critique it on the basis of thematic depth, characterization, etc. and find something worthy.
In the end, yes, WoT is more an enjoyable story than some masterpiece. What I can't understand is this snobbish attitude that a book that is for entertainment has to be bullshit.
