Zelazny intended to write a third series of five books with Merlin again as the narrator, but he died before he could get much work done on this. He did, however, write some short stories (I believe there are six, all in the short story collection "Manna from Heaven" ) that occur before, parallel to, or immediately after the Merlin series.

It'd be nice to have some more closure to that story than there was, but of course I'd have to read it again, since I don't remember much of it anymore. :disapprove:
