I like how they take me to a totally different place mentally and emotionally. It is like taking a vacation from life.
Even when I take a vacation from work, I don't need to go anywhere. I just want to read at least one good book. Then I feel as if I have.
I enjoy collecting books. And I am growing in appreciation of a nicely bound book.

I tend to prefer narrower and taller typefaces. They're more elegant and much easier on the eyes.
