The black company books are quite nice, actually. I liked it when the story got a bigger focus and new characters/groups were introduced in the later books. Compare it to the Garret books, and you'll find that the black company has much higher quality throughout. And he wrote something else I bought in an omnibus once... dread empire? Not impressed. Stick with the company. There are two other books planned, right?

I certainly hope so. I would love to get some Tobo stuff on the Land of Unknown Shadows and find out what the deal is gonna be with no d-bag uber-sorcerors around anymore
