Seriously. And how much do you read at at time. Given it takes me about an hour to read 20 to 40 pages depending on the size of the book and type and so on after a few hours reading I've still only made it maybe a hundred pages through roughly at best. Do you sit and read for hours on end or do you read extremely fast? If you do read fast how in the world do you retain what you read?
Although, I do have one unique skill when it comes to reading. I can set a book down at any point in the story and pick it back up days, weeks, months, and even years later and remember everything in the story to that point.

Because I am really not a fast reader.
The first three were very short Christian books (I was at my in-laws', and they were lying around – figured I'd try and learn how the other side ticks). They would almost have added up to one normal sized book between them.
I spent a lot more time per day reading Matter than I would normally be able to because I was on holiday. Also, it was summer there so I could sit outside reading until quite late. After that, I had a 30-something hour plane journey, so that also helped.
Then it was back to my regularly scheduled one book per week.
