Plan on reading it before the month is over, considering how many good things I've heard about the book and its author.
He is considered one of the best Czech writters of the 20th century. And especially his use of the Czech language has been matched only by few. In case of War with the Newts, there may be certain little things lost in translation, for example, when certain cosmopolitan characters use English words when speaking Czech, but hopefully it won't affect the story too much.
What's the best book you've read so far this year?
