The battle of Alesia is the one in which Caesar finally pretty much whipped the living crap out of Vercengetorix and his allies.
My first experience with Alesia was the Christopher Lambert movie "Vercengetorix" that came out a while ago. I guess the movie is also called "Druids" in some countries. Not that it was that good of a movie (like Lambert's movies are ever really good, fun yes, good, meh).
