I'm a bleeding-heart, tree-hugging, whale-kissing, tax-and-spend, big-government, non-christian (heretical-christian at best) socialist Liberal. And yes, of course, I am an Occupier (spent more than two weeks Occupying my state's capitol from mid October 2011 until early November).
I love to argue, sometimes playing the part of devil's advocate.
Unfortunately, I also suffer from a potent case of bipolar disorder.
I've almost exclusively read Fantasy and SF for most of my life, but have recently become infatuated with Historical Fiction and the history of the early christian church, as well as how the christian bible came about.
My best friend growing up has been a communist since 1986, and a lot of that has rubbed off on me, although my current best friend is a conservative who claims more of a libertarian viewpoint than a republican one.
I believe greed is one of the greatest evils mankind faces, with intolerance (yes, I fall prey to that one myself at times) coming in a close second.
I can indeed be hypocritical at times, and believe that the universe NEEDS paradox to continue.
Yes, I know, I sound insane (I am; several diagnoses to be honest) but I relish in my insanity (thats the Malkavian in me! ).
I'll add more as I think of it. And possibly my list of books read for the year as well.
