I have been of the opinion the e-ink was superior to LCDs for reading but this may change things. For a pure reader I don't really care about color when it come s to books, I graduated to books without pictures about 3 months ago but with magazines it would be nice to have color for the picture. No not just those kinds of magazines either
Yes, colors with e-magazines would be excellent. What I am even more excited about is that it looks like the e-reader is going to leap a few levels of tech really quick instead of rolling out slower. Now that I am done with school and I have tons of time to read what I want including more fiction I will be definitely be looking into a reader. But it looks like if I just wait another year I might end up with a far superior product than what is available now instead of buying something now and then buying something better in two years and so on.

What do you mean ? It says backlight is for the dark places. I guess you could use a lamp *NM*

Screens that have backlights which turn off and on automatically are annoying.
