I think, as part of our evolution, increasing the number posts required to turn a normal folder icon into an ignited folder should occur.

Currently it takes 20 posts to mark a thread as noteworthy.

Because of the nature the boards will exhibit, increasing the threshold to 50 may make the threads of more mighty substance in regards to replies comparable to when the system was first installed in the other website.

I think 50 is too high, but it may be worth increasing it a little
Does anyone else have any comments on this?
Spam issues
Just my humble opionion, but setting it too high might cause people to spam (even more?! :P) in order to get the reply count up.

20 or 30 seem about right to me, but just my opinion.
If it is to change at all, 30 sounds about right.
There does appear to be an abnormally large quantity of fiery posts. Might be due mostly to new-ocity of the site, though.
30.
Higher than current, but not too high.
How about 31?
I like prime numbers.
I'll increase it to 25, see how that goes for the time being *NM*
