More seriously, I've discovered that the hard part isn't driving on the other side, it's having the gearstick on the other side. So if you get a European car, he should be fine as long as he has you to remind him to keep left whenever he turns a corner or enters/exits a roundabout, and look ahead to see if he can overtake. Most of your driving will be on dual carriageways anyway, so it won't be possible to go on the wrong side.


I find I am rarely sure which is left and which is right. Even when walking.
