The only way I can eat is when it's a background flavor in a spicy salsa or something like that. I cooked with it once, and will never do so again- the smell of it on my hands had me mildly nauseous for several hours.

That's seriously one of my favorite smells in the world.

I'm confused if the article is talking about cilantro or coriander or both. I couldn't tell if it was using them interchangably or specifically talking about the leaves and seeds. Maybe I should go sniff some seeds to see if it's similar

Cilantro = leaves, coriander = seeds. - 27/04/2010 03:25:44 PM 287 Views
I know that's how we distinguish it...but also that most of the rest of the world doesn't. - 27/04/2010 03:35:40 PM 301 Views
Indeed. I was confused for a while about why the article was calling the leaves something different. - 27/04/2010 04:37:06 PM 296 Views

Same. Cilantro's fantastic. Arugula. Ugh. Who wants to eat bitter greens? *NM* - 28/04/2010 12:00:23 AM 111 Views
