Huh, OK. I did not like it when I was growing up, but I eventually came to like it. I would never describe it as "soapy" or reminding me of soap, though. Not really sure how people make that association. Also the bed bugs - no idea, although I haven't really run into many and certainly not close enough to smell them.


I didn't get the soap thing either. I think it is sharp tasting, not soppy.

I was surprised by the bed bug etymology. Odd.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
