Re: there's also 53% of us who think this will lead to violating civil rights. dart_board Send a noteboard - 28/04/2010 12:40:42 PM
As I've said before, I'm not against the law itself, merely how I know it will be executed, as well as the increased costs that result from it. Depending on the wording of the phone survey (which they don't seem to include anywhere), I could have been lumped in with the idiots who think nothing but good will come of this.

My only point was that the "will of the people in Arizona" does not speak with one voice and there are plenty of us who are against this law in one way or another.

I'm pretty sure that the people who have their property trashed by all the illeagals have already had their civil rights violated, forgot and thrown out. Indeed, the people that are killed and kidnapped on the border had their civil rights violated. No one wants to talk about them. Lets all debate about how some illegal might have their civil right violated, if that's even possible, and blame the victims. Yeah, lets make the people killed out to be the bad guys. After all, they should have offered to have a street paved through their home to cater to never ending string of illegals. Maybe they wouldn't have been shot in the head in the night if they had done that instead of asking for help. I doubt it though.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. ~George S. Patton
