I'm willing to change that to "Learn how to live immersed in a society which has a viewpoint very different from yours." It's what I meant, in any case. In retrospect, I should have used "society." I didn't mean that you're functionally incapable of sharing a house with people you disagree with.
the implication that I cannot live in a society which does not agree with me. Where does that come from? Is objecting to the politically problematic bad?
