My husband bought me an iphone, yay! It's so new, I haven't even touched it yet, I'll see it when I get home.
1. What's your favorite phone app?
AroundMe is ace, but I don't use it enough. Shazam is brilliant but I don't use it at all. Hipstamatic is lovely if you get past the name.
2. What are the apps you use the most?
Facebook, Twitteriffic, Skype, Whatsapp and Ping! (they both basically work as free text messaging between iPhones with the same app). ECB Cricket and Sky Sports Football Score Centre. Various news apps (almost all of which are a bit rubbish). Wikipanion (I think there's an official Wikipedia app out now, but I've just carried on with the one I've always had). The maps app that the phone comes with has been invaluable on so many occasions.
3. What are apps that you maybe don't use frequently but couldn't do without?
Flickr, Remote, eBay. I also have things like The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Alice in Wonderland, The Complete Shakespeare etc., which were free, but which I can't imagine ever reading on my phone. Won't get rid of them though.
4. Are there any apps you wish you wouldn't have bothered with?
Mostly games and little gimmicky things. I very rarely look for apps anyway, only when there's something specific I want.
5. Have you ever seen talking Carl? He is so cuuuuuute!

Oh, how simply grand it is to be travelling by dirigible again. Direct us to the west good sir, tonight we will remember what it is to live.
