My husband bought me an iphone, yay! It's so new, I haven't even touched it yet, I'll see it when I get home.

1. What's your favorite phone app?

AlmostTI: graphing calculator
Copernicium: Periodic table with a bunch of info on all the elements
Hermes: For pulling down contact info and profile pictures of my Facebook contacts

3. What are apps that you maybe don't use frequently but couldn't do without?

Orrery is a pretty neat star map app.

Of course, I don't think any of these are available on the iPhone. There might be equivalents though.
