Kerry got crap for saying he voted for the bill before he voted against it and for saying if you wanted to know what kind of leader he would be ask the people he served with knowing that many of them opposed him.
I hate to speak out against your faith but it was Fox was hardly alone in not being critical of the war before it began. They did have a number of anchors who supported finishing and who supported the surge when those on the left were saying we should cut and run and screaming that the surge was never work. Funny how much criticism Fox gets for right about and how much chest thumping the left continues to do about being wrong.

Indeed, as I noted above, Kerry got crap for saying he voted for the bill before he voted against it, because he only changed his vote when Republicans started tacking on a whole bunch of pork that didn't help the troops at all. No one wanted to hear it in '04, least of all Faux, so I don't know why they suddenly care now. Apart from partisan bias, of course.
I covered Kerrys nuanced (and therefore disastrous) quote as well as Foxs consistent support for the war both when it was very popular AND when it was very unpopular (by which point the rest of the media had largely abandoned it, which might makes sense in terms of liberal media bias, yet that doesn't explain why they supported it initially. ) But I seriously couldn't follow that second paragraph, man. You may not have noticed, but what I USUALLY do is ignore the typos themselves and respond to the content (mainly because I once got yelled at for "revising" a block quote so I wouldn't feel guilty spotlighting so many rampant grammatical errors, and just so you understand it's not a partisan thing, that guy makes me look like Reagan.
) Also, as I said to Legolas, I was NEVER going to get the part about Fox being criticized for being right about the surge working (who gets criticized for being right, anyway?
' />2' />) because if it worked so well, why are we still hearing "we can't leave or it will all collapse"?
