All you have to do is find hardware that is compatible with mac (not that hard), and turn off automatic updates for mac does not want you to do this.

And itunes stinks with pc, it is buggy and slow. Now on the mac os where it was designed for it is much faster. Mac did a bad port of the code from mac to pc.
