to use an oft-quoted phrase: "there's an app for that" moondog Send a noteboard - 28/05/2010 03:30:26 AM
Given the walled garden that is all Apple products, it's hardly surprising that people who need more than basic office functionality on their mobile don't use the iPhone.

i mean, i would really like to know what it is that someone can do with a blackberry that the iphone doesn't do? the only real thing i know of is blackberry enterprise server, which gives a major host of tools to secure a blackberry and give it an approved set of protocols and settings to manage it without having to have the device in person. so far, the iphone can't do that yet. but otherwise, all the major business software houses (except microsoft) have apps that are completely compatible with their pc counterparts. it just doesn't make sense to me that someone can't use their iphone for their business unless their IT department has a blanket "no iphone" policy.
