There is a possibility that you might have been carrying a second and lost one of them.

That's happened with Amy and I. She was feeling ill, went to the doctor and it turned out she was pregnant with TRIPLETS - but one of them was tubal, one healthy and the other didn't look too good.

Because tubals aren't viable and can be fatal that had to go. The resultant procedure was long and difficult and they weren't able to save the one viable foetus even though they tried really hard.

So that might have been it - and if so that little one is one tough little kid to survive that.
