I posted a review of A Syro-Aramaic Reading of the Koran, a very dry and academic text about passages in the Koran that defy translation. It got 118 Views, 24 Replies.
I then posted a review of one of the best books published this year, the Big Butt Book by Dian Hanson. It got 60 Views, 6 Replies. WTF? People are more interested in obscure Koran passages than a nice ass?
Obscure quran passages are more interesting than big butts i guess.
Worst of all fared my post about the death of Russian poet Voznesensky and the dying art of Russian poetry. It has 33 Views, 4 Replies.
Maybe the russian poet is not well know to most of us. Its like me posting that pakistani poet "somethign" Iqbal died, how many here would even care or know what im talking about?
I wrote half of the replies in the latter two and slightly LESS than half of the replies in the first one.
