if she leaves and beat her stomach enough to make her lose the baby. Unless the police can guarantee that they will arrest him promptly and put him in prison for many years, the girl has a valid reason to fear for her life and more so for the life of the child. If he is willing to kill the baby in the womb is he going to suddenly become sane when it is born? Or will he still be a danger to it?
Just agreeing with you, Helene. Sometimes I think the woman is staying because she has issues. but in this case I can see where the fear is very valid.
