I'm not sure that the government has currently spent more on Haiti than on this spill, but it certainly shouldn't be putting Haitians above US citizens. A nation exists to protect its citizens.


Because the Haitians are practically helpless in their situation. BP is not. They had the resources beforehand to deal with this. The government should be working far more in this situation.
