Last time the two teams met during a World Cup, it was a no-brainer, the English were all professional players, the US had maybe one professional player, or even none, not sure now. Clearly the US would get buried. And the rest, as they say, is history: the US won 1-0.

And since the gap between the two teams is nowhere near as big now...
