We are so gonna kick some American booty :|

Argh! We so should have won that game. Not because Robert Green is a muppet, cause his shocking howler was equalised by his awesome save against Altidore, but because we outplayed USA. They were good, but we did play better. Our passing was crisp, we made quite a few chances and were strong in defence.

If only Joe Cole had been playing. Silly Fabio :(


England lucked out big time too when that ball hit the post. Another six inches and you guys might have lost the game instead of a tie.

In all fairness I thought that England's ball handling was superb. There was a nice chunk of a few minutes where they just sat and passed it without even advancing past half field.
But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...
