Australia certainly isn't the team it was 4 years ago. Or, more to the point, it is and that's the problem. We still have the same players, but they're getting old and couldn't contain the German defense. (It doesn't help that we were playing without a striker and with key players in unfamiliar positions).

Germany is certainly going to be one of the better teams. Good luck to them, but try harder Australia. Please.
