I came across this article, which told me that HMV has stopped selling the Anyone But England t-shirts because they are ... wait for it ... racist and inciting "race hatred". Hmm.

Are we operating with a very wide definition of racism here? Surely that is not the word?


I would not have thought so - I would call it xenophobia myself.

However - ahahahahahahah :D Bring them over here, they'll sell in spades :D


Surely xenophobia would be directed at, say, Australians or the Chinese, rather than England. Isn't the whole point that they are too close to be acceptable?
