The English ref disallowed three good Italian goals in the Slovakia game. Whoever refed this match just gave England what it deserved, I'm glad it too the wind out of their sails at the half.
As if the English team has anything to do with the calls the English referee makes. Besides, I saw the Slovakia game, and honestly, the outcome was about right (and I've no idea where you get three disallowed but valid goals, I only saw one that might or might not have been valid). In the second half Pirlo and Quagliarella brought Italy forward at last and finally produced something that looked remotely like a defending world champion, but when such pressure comes at the price of reduced defending, it's not surprising that there'll be goals on counterattacks.
Italy didn't have much luck, true, but you have to admit that across the three games, they really didn't deserve to go through - or less than Paraguay and Slovakia, anyway.
Deutschland über England.

I am pleased that the goal differential was more than that one goal. It should have been 4-2.

Well . . . you are of Irish extraction. It is just for you to be happy that England lost.

That's my big concern, that Blatter the tosser gets off with this one.

Argentina just has too much power. Milito was absurd this year at Inter.

My thoughts exactly. Germany is officially never allowed to moan about "Das Wembley-Tor" again. *NM*

I'm fine with a bit of overconfidence, but playing without a defence was probably a bit too much. *NM*

If you've memorised the lower-case code, just subtract 32 for the upper-case code.
